Your Connection to the Host Has Been Lost.

When I try to play online, ranked or unranked, 9 times out of 10, I get this "Your connection to the host has been lost." error.

I check my router, modem, and all the connections and they are fine, so I don't know what the problem is. Although 1 time out of 10 it gets me in the game.

Anyone else have this problem, or know the solution?

I had the same problem I could barely connect to any but 1 out of 10. Earlier today I replaced the cable going to my modem and that worked (9 out of 10).(I have cable internet) So basically replace the cable or cat5 line which connects to your modem or check your cables for kinks or gashes because that screws it up too or you might have to go buy a xbox live certified router. Hope this helps

I am having the same problem, and I will try to replace the cables, but why would I have problems with GoW and nothing else (Halo2, Cod2 etc.)

For now i recommend waiting for the update. I guess this a widly spread problem. So hold off on buying new equiptment or replacing cables etc. until the update is released.

I been lucky every game I connected to work great. I didn't even have any lag issues as of yet.

I really don't think it's a problem with my router or CAT5's because this doesn't happen with any other game. I'll just be patient 'til they get all the kinks worked out and release a patch.

i have this problem as well, i only connect to 1 out of 10 attempts which sucks and i have a replacement ethernet cable which i tried but the problem keeps happening, so i would wait for the update

I have this problem too! At first I thought it was becuase Im trying to connect to US gamers all the way from New Zealand, but am glad other people have it too :)

Yes indeed i also have this problem . Drives me nuts and whats with the multiplayer for such a big game you would think that they would have made some really sick features in multiplayer but nothin . I mean the campaign is great online is just ok . IMHO

Not to worry, there is nothing wrong with your equip. I am having the same problems with GOW and COD3. COD3 works a little better for me though, i can play online with that it just takes about 10 minutes for the game to start. THey are coming out with a patch for both games. I have heard the GOW patch comes out sometime in the next week or so.

I have this problem, also. But it will probably be like any new game *cough*CoD2*cough* and they will release a patch soon.
