More and more often we are hearing about things happening in Japan for the next gen consoles, whether it be meetings, events, or advertising.

We all know that it is the traditional home of Sony and the Playstation, and I think that this time MS really want to make a massive impact there with the Xbox360 and get some of that market share off Sony.

What do you think? Is it that crucial to MS that they take out Japan? Or can they become the #1 next gen console maker with the rest of the world?

I think they will try for Japan but America is a bigger market in terms of the amount of people who live here. I think due to the fact that MS has a very very promising system and that it is beginning to gain support of many big developers it will dominate in America.

they don't absolutely need japan, and they probably won't get it. the japanese are just a bunch of ps fanboys who have no real independent thought to choose the better console. it's like, "sony is teh coolest! there's no such thing as xbox!".
