I have heard the rumors about this "new" 360. I should have the $$$$ to buy the $400 system with a couple cames in about 1 1/2 months. My BIG question is should I buy it then or wait?

I don't have an HDTV and probably won't have one for a couple more years.. I want Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, and Madden 07 (or NCAA FB 07) And of course Halo 3 (when released). I have never owned an XBox and currently have a PS2 that has seen better days. Gears is what is driving my desire. OH and online play (which I have never experienced).

What do you experts here recommend?

Also, do you guys think a bigger hard drive will be available for the current generation?

Thanks for any information you guys can offer.

Well, I really think you should just get it. It has a one year warranty now, so it's safe anyway you decide to go. Plus, when the new xbox comes out, just break your old one and they'll give you a zephyur (the new 360's codename) lol

If I were you I'd wait until about Q3 of 2007 to buy. All of the real cool stuff should have come out by then.

I would get one ASAP. IMO, if people decide to keep waiting for the next bigger and better deal you will never get anything. The "new" 360 has not even been confirmed and my turn out to not even be true at all. If anything I am all but certain a larger HD will be available someday. But I would not let that stop you from getting a 360 ASAP. Using that logic people should just wait another 5 years for the PS4 and Xbox 720 or whatever.

I say get it now and start gaming! No need to miss out waiting. Good luck~

If you want it then I'd buy it now!
When a larger hard drive is release (which is inevitable) it should be compatible with all current 360 model revisions. :top:
