The Xbox360 will be released at the end of 2005 in North America.

Most reports suggest the date will be in November.

Sounds like the perfect time to lauch right before Christmas!
I guess it will sell a ton or it wont sell at all.

ive heard that its coming out in november worldwide which i hope is true as england gets everything last (sigh)

As most have said there has been no actual confirmed release date for the 360. November has been mentioned numerous times, as well as a worldwide simultaneous release.

I personnally expect that North America to have it for there Thanks Giving holiday period (a big sales period for the States) and then Europe a week or so after that and then Japan a week or so after that. All regions should have it within a month of it's intial release in the States and before the Christmas sales rush

I hope its before christmas, would be a great gift :)

Only problem is that im in the UK so we dont get it for like 3 months after people in the USA get it :(

In stores near me i have a november 31st release data, but again not confirmed. plus japan, europe and america will all get the release within the same week.

America first of course!!!

Have you been able to pre-order you 360 from anywhere yet Iron Orta?

I've tried my local Game & Gamestation and both aren't taking pre-orders yet

No Havent tryed to pre-order yet... im hoping they will have enough to deal with the demands... but i should really get of my ass and get a pre-order.

Running out of XBoxes? I can't believe Microsoft could face such a problem, especially considering that there is still demand considering that the other systems are as good if not better than it.

Its down to the custom components, it takes more time to make and ship. I mean most of the components arnt available worldwide so they are only being manufactured for MS at the present.

..even though this is true, the 360 will be the first out and that makes it even harder to aquire the components. But then again, when they spoke to MS about not having enough to meet demands, they didnt seem to worried...as long as i get mine ill be happy ;)

i suspect probably november 25, or at least in the week preceeding thanksgiving.

that way they can have their ads, the console, and games out on the busiest shopping day of the year!

well, they're projecting that they'll sell 11 million in the first year, so they had better be prepared.

heck, their first shipment is almost sold out thanks to rampant preorders.

by the way, who's preordered here, and what's your number?

How are they taking pre-orders, we don't even have a confirmed launch date nor fore-sure price (granted, around $300). Do you put down $50 and then pay the rest later? Looks like I need to call EB.

Christmas is going to be pychotic this year. Stupid Soccer-Moms shooting Glocks in each others faces in order to get one for their stupid child who will probaly break it in a week. lol I love christmas.

OMG Parents will litterally kill each other. There was fights in the 90s over Tickle Me Elmos in once case two mothers were charged for Assault and Battery over a single toy. LOL Imagine what they will do for the PS3!

that gives them enough time to stock the shelves by the 29th...the busiest shopping day of the year.....

especially if they sell out the first shipment the first weekend like i think they will.

dude, just preorder, you don't even need to put a lot of money on it.

i preordered with 20 bucks.

but now i have it payed off, i think with $350.

any left over will be applied to games.

My plan is to get a 360 around the holidays, then save up for the Rev. then maybe get the PS3 sometime later on if I feel like it after a couple of price drops.

that's a pretty good plan, a lot of my friends are going that route.

i myself have my 360 preordered and payed off, with extra money for games, lol.

i might get a rev. if it appeals to me, maybe even a ps3 if i can get a hocked version for under $100.

I intendo to pick up both the 360 and the Revolution at launch, I'll probably pass on the PS3 unless it has a few games that really appeal to me.
