backward compatability??

i downloaded the software off the site and followed all the instructions but the xbox wont read the disc...any ideas??

Hi Rozza, I see this is your first post so let me start by saying Welcome to the site!!

You didn't say what game you are trying to play but keep in mind not every game is backwards compatible with the 360. Here is a link to the list of games that are ~
