Hey, whats up!
I just got my Xbox 360 a couple days ago. I bought it and a 32" HDTV so I could get the full enjoyment out of it! I use to have the original Xbox which was never modded. I got 3 games with the system, Need for Speed most Wanted, Burnout Revenge, and G lock something or other (it got traded in for Burnout 3 for the Xbox).

I really like the NFS and Burnout series, i am having trouble figuring out what other games I want to get. I do not like playing first person Shooters on a console but I play them alot on my computer. I also am a World of Warcrack addict. I use to really like playing some of the older platform games like Donkey Kong Country, Rayman, and Mario but dont care for alot of the newer 3d Type platform games but I did like Mario 64. So if you have any game suggestions please feel free to let me know.

I have already ordered a Skin from Decalgirl.com and also got a matching one for my Ipod. I dont plan on doing any modding at this point, dont really see a point in it at this stage but if something new comes out who knows.... I also bought the rechargable battery pack and Quick charge kit so I dont have to worry about hunting down batteries when the energizers die out. I also plan on subscribing to the official Xbox Magizine so I can get the Demo Disk each month even though I think magazines are obsolete sense everything is available on the net for free and you dont have to wait to find out about it.

I really can see my 20gig hard drive filling up quickly, some of the Demos are over 1 gig so that means I wont be able to keep them long. I really think the 120gig drive cant get here soon enough. Also thinking about getting a HD Drive, I dont have a DVD player sense my old one died so I will be useing the 360 to replace it, bought a Nyko remote just for that purpose, but looking at it when i got it home I can really see some problems with it, maybe I will take it back and get the logitech one. Cant wait to watch a Por...errr Disney movie in HD.

Not really sure of what else to include in the intro so if you want to know more let me know!!!!

oh, and I was wondering, what are some other good Xbox 360 related websites?

Just google "Xbox 360" and you'll find lots of websites dedicated to said topic.

Seems that you are a racing enthusiast for console games, so I would exhort you to try Project Gotham, and the upcoming Forza 2 as well. There are ample platformer games too, you may want to check out Dead Rising among others.

Anyway, welcome to the planet.

Welcome to the Planet Diablo. Regarding modding, I'm a fan of Nyko's changeable faceplate. You can print designs on your printer and slap them on the front of the 360. I also swear by silcone rubber controller skins. The EB Games/Gamestop brands have the best fit and feel over the Madcatz/Gameshark skins at Best Buy. I like the feel of the skins, plus getting different colors helps your friends remember which controller they are signed in on during a long night of gaming. I wouldn't worry about the hard drive too much. Your demos will only be there temporarily. You can also re-download if you want to give a game a second look later on. Gaming wise, lately I'm fond of NBA Street Homecourt, and MLB 2K7. They are both solid, but not perfect. There's not a lot of selection for platformers.
