I rip tracks via WMP11 and stream it to the 360 and play it from there. Xbox.com should provide steps on how to connect the 360 to your home computer.

I know how to stream it but I wanna know how to put the music on the hard drive using a portable device or transferring it using a computer.

To my knowledge that is not possible. To get it on the hard drive I believe you need to put the CD in the drive. But it is possible to attach a external drive or iPod with music on it.
