The Official Sports Game Thread

As this being my 1st post to the xbox360 community threads, I would like to begin by finding out where my sports game fanatics are. I see a lot of first person shooters and car racing fans, but I have yet to hear news about games such as Madden06, Live06, TigerWoods06, etc...I'm a huge fan on the sports games while 1st person shooters come close 2nd. Are there any other gamers out there like myself who enjoy these games? Also, I'm trying to find as much news as possible about these next-gen consoles (preferably x) in order to see if they are worth buying from the jump or waiting till the games become more advanced in technical specs of the systems. Im more of a "Soccer" fan to be honest, especially with games.
Im sure there are plenty of news articles on the Madden 06 game though, I'm positive I seen them somewhere.

This is true, I like Soccer games myself. They get better and better every year. Reading an article today on IGN.com, it showed a new technological advancement with in game characters on how gravity, force, and everything else in real life is supposed to be implemented in these next-gen games. They did say that Madden06 does not have this implied because it is a newer technology. With what I saw, I think it might be safe to say I might hold out for Madden till next year when they can show the full power of the 360. I haven't heard much news on the other sports games I mentioned but I know I have to get one at launch cause that is primarily what I play. Those screens from PGR3 are ridiculous and so aren't the screens for Quake4 (which I have been playing on computer since Q1, the mplayer days). If anyone sees any other news about sports games on the 360, please let us know..
