is there anyway possible to mod your 360 and still play xboxlive?

You can do any cosmetic mods and not get banned from Live, but I haven't found any circuitry changes you can make without getting the box banned.

Case mods are fine but hardware mods will get you banned from live.

yea you cant change any firmware or anything i just bought a modded 360 . all case and paint and leds modded i should get it by next week ! now ill have 2 360's

my friend got a 360 modded and just rents games and downloads them to his hdd. and he said he plays xbox live but i didnt believe him.

just steer clear of any hardware mods it ain't worth trying and then finding out that the 400 odd $ you just coughed up are blowing in the wind
