I actually ignore most reviews on the 360 these days, and although im sure halo fanboys are going flame me but there is NO way halo3 deserved the 95%-100% that so many gave it.

MS are sending small cash filled envelopes out i tellz ya, i hate the PS3 as its a overpriced paper weight but i can see why sony fans flame halo and MS so much, theres defiantly something fishy going on.
Hell halo3 is rated higher then Halflife 2 and anyone even halo fans have to admit thats retarded

I just got forza 2 the other day for my birthday, but with halo 3 nobody is going to buy or play a new game for a while. Except for xxRPGGAMEMANxx who is the biggest anti Halo person ever. Isn't that right?

I've been playing PGR 3 but cannot get used to the wheel so i gave that back and used the controller instead.

Its ok i suppose not 'amazing' but a good game especially when playing live.

I doubt i'd bu PGR 4 though and yes its released in the UK on October 12th.

PGR4 in Australia, October 10th.

I preordered it, cause I love car racing games, I own PGR 1, 2 & 3, plus Forza.

Its a great game, I liked number 3. PGR4 has been rather quiet because of all the noise, with Halo 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Forza 2, GTA4, I mean, where can you fit in PGR? I think Bizzare make good games, so I'd expect it to be good.

You may as well get it cause who knows what direction Bizzare is going, I heard they sold out to another company, Activision I beleive (dont quote me).

So fingers crossed it does well.
Again, I'm not expecting huge leaps and bounds. We are up to the 4th instalment, so business as usual I expect. If they go radically different, it could be successfull or flop. I do know they've added bikes, lets hope these are better than TDU's attempt at Bikes. They've also introduced weather, so that would be sweet if it actually works too. So thats all I know.

As for the wheel, the wheels first game designed to be used was Forza. MS wanted to launch wheel bundled with Forza 2 but because Forza 2 got delayed, they notched up a revamp of PGR3 to support the wheel. Essentially is was crap, the car flew everywhere and the wheel was too sensitive. You couldn't even keep the car straight while attempting to drive in a straight line.

I heard its very good with Forza. I bought the MS wheel, but took it back because of my experience with PGR3.

The wheel is the only way to go with Forza if your a racing guru such as myself. PGR4 is probably just a rental for me. I don't even have Halo3 yet so it's definitely not on the top of my list.

Wow... I see I'm talked about while I'm not around! Thanks guys, but anyways. I have PGR4. The single player is ok. A little easy especially if you use bikes and do tricks and stuff. The multiplayer is so much fun if you can find the right group of people who just joke around and stuff. Don't get me wrong though, the serious racing can also be just as fun. Also there are team based ranked racing events which are fun.

Pretty cool! It's hard to find an online room where there isn't any weather in effect xD. Snow is probably my favorite. Everyone slides and crashes. Icy is about the same as snow except the road it self isn't as slippery but there are small ice patches that are very slippery. Havn't really played much with rain though.

I personally love the bikes. Sadly they fall prey to the assholes on live who think it's so cool to crash you while your on one!

have they added damage to the cars? or is it strickly arcade-based racing? i was considering buying it (mainly cause of the bikes), but i could live without it. if theres not much difference maybe i should just pick up pgr3 for $20.

No there isn't any damage added. With the amount of crashing people on ranked matches do it's a good thing.

Even with Halo 3, I still found heaps of Gears Matches, theres always people inthe world willing to play something.

Wish you could log onto MS.com and see the games and how many people are online for each etc. that would be great.

PGR2 was the best racer on the original Xbox. Forza 1 was a decent stab at a simulator but without FFB, the Xbox was destined to fail at sims.

Now with the 360, the first game I bought was PGR3. It looked insane, played alright but it was too much like PGR1 and not PGR2 (a big mistake). Now it looks like they've gone back to their true roots for PGR4. I am waiting on a demo because depending on how the cars handle determines if this is a buy or not for me.

Meh, Halo 3 was going to be my last game on 360...but this one is tempting me. Naughty.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday and 2 of the Bizzare team were on it for an interview they claimed that there is no other game like PGR4 as you cant name a racing game that when your going down a hill on a track and suddenly a beast of a storm pulls in , if so this sounds like an interesting game...could you confirm if this is true or just hyping their game up...

I'm so, so disappointed with the demo. Ugh.

It looks identical to PGR3 firstly, which isn't necessarily a terrible thing...but what have they been doing the past 2 years?

Secondly, the handling is worse, I feel to PGR3. Very arcade-like and low-speed stability is just...wrong.

Thirdly...meh.

It was funny, cause I said to her you probably dont beleive me but its true, I took a photo on my mobile at work, with the delivery date being now, the packaging and hte game. She did beleive me, but she said thats wierd cause there is no copies of PGR3 in their store.

I said I speaks the truth. Plus I said I own PGR3, check my gamertag, I bought it from you (the same store) with my 360, check my account (as its online store).

She totally beleived me and said its a mystery.
I put it down to the teenagers they hire in despatch!
