hook up 2 xbox live with a broadband card?

I have a laptop with a broadband which allows me acces to the internet. I have a xbox 360 elite with the ethernet cable. How can i get on xbox live?

Please help...has been searching for an anwer

I have just figured this out. Allow me to answer life's question.
Your laptop is useless in this matter. What you need to do is buy a router, and hook your wireless card up to the router, and the router to the 360. Your laptop has absolutely nothing to do with it and you could play live on the road if you wanted, without a laptop. Case closed.

i dont think you would be able to hook up a pcmcia card to a regular router, i dunno if M$ is gonna help you out much in this matter.
