It's a toss up between Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect for me. There's no way in hell I'm dropping $180 on Rock Band and have all that equipment cluttering my living room.

Assassin's Creed will be the first on my list since I loved the Prince of Persia games and this seems to be in that style of games.

I couldn't care less about GH3 or Rock Band...................... I don't see the appeal when these games and guitars cost almost as much as a REAL intsrument that you could really learn to play.

Some of us have no interest whatsoever in learning to play the guitar, but GH3 looks like a hell of a lot of fun. I'm not sure why people always make this comparison, but they will still play Madden, PES, Big Game Hunter, etc. The same principle applies.

Playing guitar is something an AVERAGE person can do unlike play professional sports. When people are buying "gig bags" for their plastic toy guitars and painting them up to look cool then they should get real instruments (and lives while their at it).

Anyone can go outside and play soccer, basketball, football or go hunting. If you're going to say "pro sports" then compare it to professional musicians, which the AVERAGE person cannot do.

I agree with the "gig bags" and ****. Personally, I wouldn't think about GH3, but I have a Toys R Us gift card to burn up, so I might as well use it on something I wouldn't plop down cash for, yet I still think I'll get a lot of play out of it. My Barbie collection is complete, so what else can I use the card for?

i agree with hollywood, comparing big game hunter to hunting isn't the same as comparing GH to playing guitar

you can't hunt in the comfort of your own home but you can play guitar at home. GH is just as retarded as that cooking game, what's next? a sleeping game? a sitting around and watching tv game?

It's out of Mass Effect and Call of Duty 4 for me. Both look like solid, highly anticipated titles. But I'm going to have to choose Mass Effect.

It won't steal loads. It will steal some of course, but loads? No doubt it will
be a great game, but it people won't be trading Halo 3 in for COD 4.

AC: I read a review that said that it doesn't feel like it's you who is performing Altairs actions. Wich is very bad.

COD4: After playing the boring SP demo i lost interest.

Mass Effect: I love Bioware games. This is my pick :)

The review in OXM says the SP campaign in COD4 is only 5-6 hours long on the medium/default difficulty.

Gameplay from the PC to 360 is night and day Shane. The vast majority of all PC FPS are superior in gameplay and graphics to their console counterpart.

COD4, turns out, is really fun, i think. online is fun, single player is pretty fun, too. Glad i bought it. Unlike half life, which feels like i have to work at it to get anywhere. i don't fantasize throughout the day about playing half life 2 like i do cod4.

I was going to buy Assasins Creed, but the reviews from IGN I saw of like a 6 something was enough to deter me. I usually always agree with their ratings, and it was not that good.

I love COD4, veteran mode is excellent, and hard!

I will go with COD 4 FTW , I am surprised that this game is not a GOTY candidate at Gamespot (Halo 3 will surely win even if it ain't that great)

Assasin's creed is a nice change from the Many FPS games out there , Mass effect ... i don't know , hopefully it will be good but .... i just don't know about that one.
