Your pre-halo days

i'd like to know about your pre halo gaming habits. before halo came out i had only owned nintendo systems. my favorite games included:goldeneye/other james bond games, tony hawk games, wwf games, and madden games. since halo came out i basically play shooters and sports games. so what were your favorite games before halo?

Halo3 is only halo i ever played proper or when it came out, i was aware of other halos and knew well they were overrated, I played games like HalfLife that halo ripped off.

halo is my favorite game ever. if it wasn't for halo i would never have bought an xbox and would still be playing annual variations of tony hawk. thank you bungie for saving me from that dreadful fate.
