Hi i'm not sure if a thread has been done on this or not but i need some help.
Right i have a converted attic room where i have my 360. Our home PC is in the room directly below, it has a broadband connection. Do i need to buy the wireless router to connect with the PC or is there something else i need to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You would need a wireless router and the 360 wireless adapter, unless you want to do some drilling and run wires.

So the adapter dosen't come with the official 360 router? If not can i buy from my local GAME store?

You might be able to buy a router from the game store. Some routers that are being released now have a Xbox Live logo on them so you know for sure that they are compatible. Some do not work really well for gaming.

You can do the alternative as Karma pointed out. I always try to get my Bob Villa on whenever possible.

Right so i need the router and that will automatically connect to my home broadband i asume? Also i know that i will need to purchase the 12 month subcription to XB live. Is there any thing else i might need?

If you're buying a router, the modem will plug into the WAN port of the router. You can then plug devices into the LAN ports, or configure them wirelessly per the instructions provided with the router. Once the 360 is connected, and you have your subscription, you're ready to rock.
