View Full Version : A Question about the Upcoming Release of XBOX360

Hey,

I was just thinking about the release of the original XBOX a few years ago. I remember retail stores (EB Games, Gamestop, etc...) had working models of the XBOX a few weeks prior to launch for people to try. I was wondering if this same "marketing technique" is going to be used for the launch of the XBOX360. If anyone could enlighten me if this has been confirmed yet, I would greatly appreciate it.

read on another Forum stores should be getting Xbox 360 Kiosks around Oct 12th

It most likely will happen. I don't see why not! The Xbox 360 is already finished production now right? I think they're in the mass-manufacturing cycle now.

I work in retail (Shopko) and 3 days ago we just got our new planograms. They are basically a map of the whole store and show where our future products are going to go. I was looking at the electronics one and saw that we get a "Game-system display unit" on the 25th of October. Maybe its the 360?

Yes our Gamestop just got a release that said, we will be getting our Xbox 360 kiosks, around the beginning of November...however, they did not state what games will be playable.

well i sure hope so but i bet the lines will be long the first few days well ill be in line any way
