ntsc and pal..

i live in turkey. as i know games in america are ntsc games. and games in europe r pal games.
what s the difference? if i buy an xbox 360 from usa , can i play games that i ll buy from turkey? or not

Simple answer-nope.
But all I know on the technological level is that most consoles are region specific so you can only play game bought in America on a console bought in America but alot of consoles like the Sony PSP and Nintnedo DS allow you to play any game in the world no matter where you buy it from but the 360 isn't doing that.

Yeah, cause of the different voltages and wiring and whatnot. PSP and DS are portables so it makes no difference. You can easily just buy an adapter that can switch between different voltage inputs and such. For a stationary console that hooks into your TV it gets more complicated.
