Nope, but if you move your 360 while the disc is spinning obviously it will get scratched...

I disagree. My PDZ, Hitman, and Quake were all scratched horribly while my 360 was vertical but since I moved it to the horizontal position, I haven't had one problem. Yes, it's not scientific it is merely based off personal experience.
