View Full Version : Posting In Progress?

For those who frequent the Shout Box we have all encountered the omnipresent "Posting in progress". An irritant to say the least but I think I found a solution. Lately I have been keeping two Firefox tabs of PX360 open. Whenever I get posting messages I swap to the other tab and re-type or complete my comment. It seems to work as I have yet to encounter two simultaneous "Posting in progress" comments. If it works for me I would assume it would work for you.

that's a good idea because that posting in progress get's on my damn nerves. and it always seems to happen when you actually have something important or funny to say lol

Yep, I just whore F5 in those instances. Oh and I don't get the PIP of doom like I used too -- it's dropped off a lot since getting Firefox 3.

I knew there was a reason we never see you say anything important or funny.

Burrrrnnzzzzzzzzzzz!!!
When I get PIP, I also just reload the page. Sometimes it doesn't work at all though, and the shoutbox just appears to be blank.

I'm the same as Scott since FF3 I rarely get it, and when I do I just ctrl+c that motha. then ctrl+p it once I smack refresh.
Id suggest never using ***ass IE, that seems to be crawling with PIP jargon.

I stopped using IE long ago. I have been a Firefox user for a few years. When I get my MBP, I will see if I like Safari because it's Apple directed.

Its probably the same way he sold his 80GB PS3, and is now unhappy that all he can get is a new 40GB PS3.

Let me work this out for you:
Bought PS3: £280 (loads of discounts...having a friend working in GAME FTW)
Sold PS3: £340
Buy 40Gb PS3: ~£280 with games
RESULT!

Nope, you still sold a superior PS3 then the model you will be buying, and you knew GT5 was coming out back then. Its the same as 'halo3 is my last 360 game' lark back in september. No more excuses, you lose.

Heh, you still fail to see the real picture here. I had a PS3 from launch. That PS3 was sitting doing nothing but losing value because there was nothing to play on it. I could let it sit and pass through several price drops and lose further value (and still be no better off owning it as there was nothing I wanted to play on it in that timescale), or I could sell it, make a good amount of money on it then buy another, cheaper unit when games I wanted to play came around.
Sorry if that makes too much sense for you.

Ha! Like you're in any position to speak. These emotes all stem from MMO's and I have been playing FFXI since 2004 when you were approximately eleven-teen so CHATA!

I'm exactly in position to speak, I was/am a kid so I can use them and people will overlook how stupid they just... look. With that said:
