PDZ vs. Halo 3

I think they are trying to say that PDZ is the Halo or this systems lauch line up...which looking at the launch line up it seems to be. As for topping Halo 3? It is impossible to tell since we haven't seen even a screen shot of it.......

The game looks great, I'm getting it at launch.

However, I don't think it has nearly as much hype as Halo 3...

PDZ will be out at LAUNCH, Halo 3 will come in the future. Don't go comparing the two just yet. They will both equally be good.

Ask yourself if you're rather have only one great FPS or several. I think they'll both be great. I'll play PDZ until Halo 3 comes out :)

Edit: By equally I don't mean they will be just as good as the other. Chill. Everyone has different likes. If you prefer one over the other then go for it. I'll be getting, and enjoying them both, however. :)

i have a feeling that although pdz will take some away from halo 2 i dont really think that halo2 is in danger of losing the crown for most played game on live

I think that with Halo 2 being such a huge dissapointment, Microsoft had no choice but to choose another game to be it's main seller. Rare is an exceptional developer, whereas Bungie is only "above average". They made one great game, and then screwed up the sequel. Big deal, Rare has made tons of great games, and PDZ will continue that trend. I am actually glad, cause this way I don't have to rely on Halo 3 actually being good to get an Xbox 360. I know PDZ will be good, so I can get one right away.

Halo 2 hasn't even been out for a year. Most games GAIN Xbox Live users when you compare it one year later to the launch date. Halo 2 has lost tons of users on Xbox Live, and it isn't because there is a better game out there. There isn't. People are just upset with how Halo 2 plays. Also, the online gameplay is anything but fun, at certain points, and the campaign had great level design, but otherwise, the campaign was the worst part of the game.

Probably cause they are busy making the game, and not playing it. If they spent a ton of time playing it, they would probably get better.

Microsoft is saying that to build up excitment. But we all now that jame bond 007 start it, PDZ made it better and HALO MADE IT AWSOME. HALO 2 PWN IT, AND WITH ONLINE. HALO WILL ALWAY BE THE MASCOT FOR XBOX PERIOD.

How did we hype up Halo 2 and cause standby/glitching/modding/bridging/etc? That isn't us hyping it, that is poor development. I'm not talking about how the game didn't include features they said would be in there(ie, atv) cause I don't care about that crap. What I do care about is fluidity of gameplay, and Halo:CE had it, but Halo 2 didn't. Take a look at the following video for an example of this:

First, Halo 2 was a great game and a major upgrade. They could have added more thing to it, ex: Bots. And second Halo 3 will be much better the PDZ, nothing beats Halo.

How exactly do you think they will be equal in gameplay? Look at the video I posted earlier. It's absolutely ridiculous. From what I've seen on PDZ, it will be a lot like Counter Strike(but futuristic), meaning none of those hitboxes or autoaim will be there. PDZ will have tons better gameplay, but probably not better graphics(who am I kidding, it WONT have better graphics).

I dont think im going to get PDZ, i dont think it looks that great. Gears of War will be my shooter till Halo 3 hits the stores
