Check out the link to the article her at our website:

Finally, I can get rid of the Christd14 and move on to something more representative of "Grindstone"- or not. What about Eviscerator?

Anyway, good news to me.

P.S. No friends list, please. Although I have account, I do not have a high speed connection, so I will not be playing anytime soon.

My new gamertag on the 360 is going to be something like Daniel, Daniel 1989 UK or just Daniel 89 UK.

Did you read the article? You can change your gamertag on the 360. You won't need to make another account just for a different name, unless you really want to.

Personally I think this is a great feature. As long as I can move my account over to the 360 with ease (as in, not go through loads of screens and put in loads of details) I'll use this feature.

I made another thread for this question, but it died. If someone on xbox 1 has the gamertag you want for 360, will you be able to get that tag?

No because 360 and Xbox 1 are all on the same service so you won't be allowed to have 2 people with the same gamertag,it would mess up stats, friends lists etc.

I wish they would recycle some of the old gamertags. Grindstone is currently taken and being used, somewhat. Though, I have other names that I like and are taken, but the account is inactive. They really should recycle some of them, just erase the old profile completely and let some hopeful fool ike me get his dream.

Yeah, I think I might use this. Mine is DiamondSkin but I was thinking of changing it to something more aggressive.

What you could do, is join a clan, and then start, or end your name, with the clans initials. Otherwise, add some kind of prefix/suffix, or just be more creative with your name. For example, The name "grindstone" could be spelled differently in another launguage, but still be identifiable in English.

Of course, this is just a suggestion really. :top: Also, I agree, names should be recycled. Though, sence microsoft knows this, they more the likely, will soon. Exspecially, sence you can change your name on the 360.

Some games already have the clan tags. Mech Assault 2 does anyways. One of the generals can set what the tag is and it appears as the prefix in everyone's name who's in the clan.
