Now, if you go to enter your tag on 360, and someone else has it on xbox 1, will you be able to have that tag?

It's the same Xbox Live servers. When you make a Gamertag and it works on both systems. That includes current Gamertags.

Think of it as the Xbox's 'passport'.

well im keeping my tag so it doesnt matter to me either way
