who do u think should be on the cover of next years madden
name ur top 5 and give a good reason not just that he's on ur favorite team

Randy Moss: broke jerry rice's record for most receiving touchdowns in a season with 23

Tom Brady: broke paton manning's record for most passing touchdowns in a season with 50

Willie Parker: he was the steelers workhorse for most of the season and he had 1,316 yards until he broke his leg for his team

Adrian Peterson: greatest performance by a rookie that i have ever seen and came in second in rushing yards last season

T.J. Houshmandzadeh: best season that he's ever had led the league in receiving yards

**** Doug Flutie could have broken that record with an identical wide out line up. I'd like to see a defensive player on the cover such as DeMarcus Ware or Ed Reed.

TJ FTW even though I doubt he'd be on it. Most likely I think the cover will be a running back although there are a few QBs who may be better choices. It's also highly possible that a receiver would make it although I don't believe there ever has been a receiver on the cover. Anyway here are my top 5 candidates.

1. Adrian Peterson - Since LT turned down the cover last year he seems like the best choice. He's young and he's coming off arguably the greatest performance by a rookie RB ever.

2. Brian Westbrook - Year in and year out he puts up great numbers and last year was no different.

3. Randy Moss - Record breaking season although he would probably want too much money

4. Tom Brady - Broke a lot of records and is pictured everywhere from magazines to TV. Plus a lot of argument was flying around last year whether he was the greatest QB ever.

5. Eli Manning - If they choose to go the QB route who would be a better choice than the QB who lead the super bowl upset of the undefeated Patriots. Although I really don't like him at all and definately don't think he deserved the super bowl MVP.

Agreed but look at the Vikes O-Line ... Eddie George could come out of retirement and run for a grand w/ those fat bastards blocking for him.

2. Brian Westbrook - Year in and year out he puts up great numbers and last year was no different.

Agreed. By far the best all around half back in the NFL.

3. Randy Moss - Record breaking season although he would probably want too much money

It's easy to break records when you know what scheme the defense is running.

4. Tom Brady - Broke a lot of records and is pictured everywhere from magazines to TV. Plus a lot of argument was flying around last year whether he was the greatest QB ever.

Best ever is laughable. Kraft is like the George Steinbrenner of the NFL, he buys his championships. Alex Smith would be a great QB if he had the recievers and tight end Belicheat bought.

5. Eli Manning - If they choose to go the QB route who would be a better choice than the QB who lead the super bowl upset of the undefeated Patriots. Although I really don't like him at all and definately don't think he deserved the super bowl MVP.

After years of mediocrity one SB game where the receiver saved an otherwise incredibly horrible throw and he is redeemed. I love the NFL!

He turned it down last year so unless they come back with a lot more expensive offer he won't do it.

Listening to the NFL Network last year, LT didn't accept the cover even though it was offered to him because he was afraid of the Madden Curse. I **** you not that's what they were saying. Furthermore, Brady can lick a sweaty coin purse the cheating punk *****.

to break the madden curse they should put Chad Johnson on the cover because hes not gonna play this year he ****en hates his team

i think he should go to the steelers because Roethlisberger is complaining about not having a tall WR
or
Tennessee because Vince young needs a good wide receiver

I wouldn't want to play for a team that's had 1 winning season in 18 years either. I don't know if he'd fit real well with the Steelers since they like more physical recievers. Ward and Co. throw some some great blocks.

Tenn don't need him since VY only passes for 100yds a game.

Chad is a punk *****. I've hated that loudmouth idiot for years now. He'd complain in Pittsburgh or Tennessee to because neither of them have much of a passing game so he wouldn't get his touches. He's all about Chad so it doesn't matter how good or bad the team is doing if he didn't get his. I really hope we trade him though. Eagles showed some interest, and I feel getting Kevin Curtis and a defensive player (Sean Considine since Bengals need a safety and I doubt Eagles would get rid of Brian Dawkins) would be a great return.

Sean Considine? hahaha!!!! he's terrible

Better than anyone the Bengals have, thats for sure.

Chad can go because they have TJ and Chris Henry who is a great receiver when he's not busting out straps. What the Eagles need is a dependable and consistent QB. McNabb is a has been one hit wonder. He has the heart of a champion but with bad knees and questionable pocket passing skill, Philly might want to look into acquiring Brady Quinn and rebuild their passing game.

hollywood21639

Quinn to Eagles? God I hope not. I like Quinn and would hate to see him on a team I dispise. Besides they drafted Kevin Colb. He's their QB of the future.

Colb? hahahaha Look at Quinn's stats during last years combine. Dude is yolked, has a Favre like arm, can take a Reginald Denny beating and is very intelligent.

I know Quinn is a blue chipper. I would get rid of Roethlisberger in a second to have him.

I think Paul Daniels would make an awesome cover athlete.

Roethlisberger is a beast theres no reason that the steelers should get rid of him
he had the second best QB rating last season, he proved that he can get out of the pocket if he needs to (30 yard run against browns), he just got paid a ton of ****en money and he made the pro bowl.

i like Brady but i don't think he will be a great QB. I think he will be a good one but i could be wrong he could break all the records

He has abilty and is a top 10 (maybe 5) QB in the NFL but he has yet to play a season where he doesn't get injured in some way. I can't believe they paid him $100mill (i know he'll probably never most of it) when better (imo) qb's out there making money in the $60mill range. Now I know there are bums out there making mega bucks (Mcnabb).

My opinion of him changed when he ran his mouth about Cowher & Whisenhunt...........he basically said they were holding him back. Dude, you won the SB!!!
