Okay,
I'm new here and I enjoyed Lost Via Domis, although it was terribly short and the puzzles were quite simplistic, the original adventure gaming game play was quite refreshing.
Does anyone know of any games similar in nature to Lost, Myst or even dreamfall?
I would really like a less action packed, and more story and puzzle packed game experience. :)

i don't know if it fits in with those, but the CSI game might do it for you. You basically go from place to place, find clues, interrogate people, etc... not much action, but it can be addicting, at least for a bit. i never played it on the 360 though.
it is similar to myst, but a bit more interactive.

CSI? Is that like the tv show? I'll definitely look more into it, anyone know any others? :)

The only, as we may call them, Puzzle-genre games are usually on the Arcade, eh? I advise you buy puzzle arcade games such as Luxor or TriQ or whatever it is called.

Nah, I don't enjoy those types of puzzle games. I like a strong story, little action and a lot of hard puzzles. Like Zelda (tho it has a large amount of action, it's still quite great), or Lost Via Domis, or DreamFall, or Resident Evil (but with less shooter type gaming).

yeah, its based on those characters. you go from the crime scene, to the lab, to the suspects. you don't really move, you have a static image and you, basicallly, move your cursor over the screen to find what you need to find, like old adventure games, or myst. then when you do find what you need, you can interact with it a bit.
so it isn't a puzzle game like gamerman was suggesting, but more like an adventure puzzle game, i guess.
i hate csi, but the game is pretty fun, or just different from my normal games. i have it for the wii.

Does anyone know of any upcoming or games in development for the 360 that are adventure? :)

have you tried Oblivion? i'm also a fan of interesting puzzle type games....didn't like lost much though. Also Orange box has a bunch of episodes of Half life. another you might want to try is Bioshock, not too "puzzley" but you can explore and stuff.... i dunno if that helps at all but these are some i enjoyed....

Oh, one more caught my eye the other day, that might be what you might be looking for. The Lost game. don't know anything about, didn't read anything, but i am assuming, because assuming rules, that it is some mystery type adventure game. i am also sure if you were interested, you could google it. i'm not, so i didn't. but it could suit you.
oh, didn't read the post before mine, in typical xboxplanet fashion, and they mentioned lost too.

Yea, I tried Oblivion. It was cool, but it's more geared Dungeons and Dragons and to be honest - I am pretty tired of the fantasy games. I'm looking for more of a Horror, or Investigative, or overall Dark Adventure Game. ;)
