So I just rented halo went to wal-mart and bought 2 more controllers and 4 mics. So me and my friends could go play online and all be able to talk.I get home and they all sign as guest under me and we realize guest cannot talk.So we go to make them all accounts and upon entering my credit card information when we goto create account it says your credit card information is not valid please check your information and try again. I have went over it multiple times and it is definitely right what can I do to fix this.Me and my friends want to play online now with the mics I just spent 80$ on. GRRR :Puke: Damn microsoft cant let guest talk arseholes

you would buy 4 mic's....I kind of like the way Microsoft won't let guest's talk, its just another annoying kid and his friends that I don't have to hear :) :)

you spend $80 on controllers and mics, and try to spend more money on live accounts, all for a game that you RENTED for a few days because you wanted to save a few dollars? i'm perplexed.

Lets rate your decision making process.

Renting Halo3. 10/10
Buying 2 more controllers to enjoy multiplayer. 10/10
Not knowing that guests CANNOT talk on Halo 3. 1/10
Buying 4 headsets for the homies. 1/10
Trying to buy 3 gamertags for your homies. 1/10

Total 4.6/10

I'm not trying to be rude but playing on a 360 will start to get really expensive when you have homies crashing your pad expecting you to be their big sugar daddy buying all the accessories and even gamertags for them...

Also even if you had been able to buy them each a gamertag with live access they would still be "guests" that were logged onto your console, thus no talking.

LOL nice touch there charles, i think maybe that Frisky Dingo dude should do his research before he wastes money on mics and LIVE accounts.

Yeah dude you totally blew your money, I would have had just as much fun without my friends talking on Halo 3, just talking amongst ourselves is 10 times better. And I would never ever pay out of my own pocket to buy Xbox Live accounts for my friends. Never. I they want it so much they should buy it themselves.

Wow I bought 2 Logitech controller which is 49.88$
and 4 wired mics which is 80$(my reasoning for this was I was originally going to buy a wireless one but why do that if you could get one for each friend for almost the same price).
and I was going to buy 2 xbl accounts 1 month each which is 15$ one was for my brother and one for my roommate the other friend already had one.

thats a grand total of 145$ just enough to buy about 2 games or two wireless controllers which I guaranteed all of you have probably done and probably use about as much as I will use this stuff.

So why don't you stop flaming and ****ing answer my question maybe? You arrogant assholes.

Lets rate your decision making process.

So ElderScroller what your saying is even if they all had their own gamertag only one mic can be in use on the xbox360 at once?
So 40$ of that really was a waste? What is even worse is that ***** at wal-mart didn't give me a receipt so no way are they going to let me return them.

Remember that the first month is free on new gamertags. No need to buy one months worth.

so don't tell me you are not guilty of buying an extra controller for your xbox or a multiplayer game just because it was multiplayer?Did you do that for yourself too?

Pepper Jack

controller yes, because IIII like to play with friends, and games no, they can play on my games but i'd never buy a game just because it's got MP. if they want a game and i don't they can ****ing buy it lol

i'm still not getting this. you originally stated that you were getting all this stuff to be able to play a game you RENTED. RENTED!!! and what gold-plated diamond-encrusted games are you buying if 2 of them costs you $145? and why are you buying all this stuff for other people? like Pep said, unless they buy all the beer or have some dirt on you, why don't they buy their own stuff and WHY ARE YOU SPENDING $145+ ON A GAME YOU WILL ONLY HAVE IN YOUR POSESSION FOR A FEW DAYS?

FriskyDingo
14-04-2008, 09:30 PM
games are 60$ 64$ with tax that makes 128$ which is just shy of 145$ .Besides who said you can't use extra controllers with other games?

you're lucky it is wal mart. say whatever you want about them, but they do have an excellent return policy. if you kept the packaging, you;ll probably be able to return it for at least in store credit.

true story: my friend bought a table from Wal Mart and used it for over a year. we routinely played poker on it, and it saw its fair share of spills. when he moved out of his apartment, he packaged it back up and returned it no questions asked.

I must say i despise walmart, especially going inside the scummy place, but I can always count on them to replace a few years old dvd of mine if it stops working.

Not my wal-mart!!!!
They wouldn't let me return any of them not even when the lady who had just sold me them was present.

One time my brother bought a pair of computer speakers and upon bringing them home we discovered they were craptastic and didn't even come with the cables we needed to hook them up.So when we tried returning them the lady called over a couple of other wal-mart employees including a janitor who all stood around in a circle trying to decide if we could return them or not. Then they decided we couldn't because their electronics expert wasn't present and we may have stolen parts out of them. :|

hehe, i totally know what you are saying about them all clustered around trying to make a decision. i used to deliver stuff to them, and when there was a light bulb out, i kid you not, them meatheads had like 3 managers hovering around it trying to figure it out or something. wal mart managers FTL!!
