Me and alex have been trying to play together on live, but whenever we invite each to chat or to a game, its says the connection has failed and the chat or game never gets to be established. It seems to be happening only to us, because both me and him can invite and chat with other people. WTF is going on? I can't really take it much longer.

Mine says it's moderate. How do I make it open, Charles?

How do I change it? I hope it's simple. I'm not very tech savvy.

Shup, alex. My NAT used to be open, I remember we chatted once. Now it's gone moderate. Haven't a clue why.

Just try Test connection again to see if it goes back to open. If not, check your router setting and make sure UPnP is turned on.

i used to be able to play Forza with him and chat with him but now , as soon as i invite him in the chat (or vice versa) the window closes down on us both and we cant connect.
My Router is a D-Link DI-604 ... Someone sent me a way to fix this but i was not able to do so ...

If you have trouble connecting to people or games or you can't hear some people in the rooms, it could all be attributed to your NAT settings. If you forward certain ports, you can fix this. Port fowarding basically means that when your router receives information on a certain port, it knows to send it right to the xbox, making it so all necessary info gets through. I realize that doesn't mean anything to some people, but here is a guide to fixing it.
The main thing you have to do is go to this site: PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall (http://portforward.com/routers.htm)
First, find out which router you have. This is the box that the main ethernet cable goes into, and all other ethernet cables for all of your connections come out of. Get the make and model number off of that and visit the link above and select it from the list. Basically just follow the instructions on the page.
I had a wireless Linksys router, and I had to set up a static IP Adress for my 360 before I got started. I went to this page PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall (http://portforward.com/networking/staticip-xbox360.htm) and followed the instructions. You can probably leave the DNS at "automatic". To get all the info for your IP Address, subnet mask and all that, just go to your computer, hit the start button, hit "Run..." and type in "cmd". This brings up a black box with a space to type. Just type in "ipconfig" and hit enter. This will bring up all the info you need.
Any other questions you have I can try to answer them if you run into problems.
