Depends, if this turns out to be RPG. I'm not getting it. I hate RPG's.

oh baby, i've been waiting for this sucka since i heard about it 6 or 7 months ago. i love the fallout world. i hope this one sticks to what the first 2 games laid out, as far as gameplay, humour, and the characters. little worried with some of the screenshots i have seen, none of them, that i have seen, have shown any outside shots, just vault shots and some characters (which look different too).

hehe, this game coming out also renewed my interest in the old PC ones, and i ahve been scouring the bargain racks at the grocery store trying to find them...but so far nothing. :(

agreed - i'm not a die-hard rpg'er by any stretch but Oblivion was freakin' amazing!

The Company that originally made the Fallout games went bankrupt during creation of Fallout 3, years later Bethesda Softworks (Oblivion Creator) Purchased the development rights for Fallout3 costing them over a million bucks. They started by tossing out the existing programming and starting building it from the ground up. They even managed to secure a soundtrack from the guy who was writing music for the original Fallout game.

IIRC it was Interplay that is responsible for Fallout3 - funny enough, they are licensing the rights to create a Fallout MMO.

That could be pretty sweet. A big WOW like game but in fallout world...

i liked interplay, they put out some good games. "By gamers, for gamers."
