This server is driving me insane!

Is anyone else getting the message "the server is too busy?

I keep getting it. Are there too many people trying to get into the forums?

We didn't have this problem when matt was around! WTF is going on?

yeah, the upgrade was supposed to improve it but it's gotten much worse for sure

Its brutal when I get home in the evenings. I've gotten the busy message many times, and when I get back on I see only about 180 users. Keeping in mind that 90% of those users are reading something at any point in time and not actively downloading data from the server, that's pretty bad. I'm sure the hiccups will be ironed out, but its frustrating right now.

Edit: Jacksmith, its not anyone's connection. Its a message from the PX360 server saying that it sucks. I see it every night and I have ample bandwidth.

Jacksmith you retard, it has nothing to do with connections, when its down its down for anyone anywhere on the planet trying to access the site, cleary you know nothing about Internet bandwidth.

i got it a couple times, but after the last round where the banner went missing, about a week or two ago, i haven't seen that message since. and i got it in my evening, which is about 3-4 hours later then most of the other US guys, and about 8-9 hours later then the UK guys.
been working pretty good for me anyway. hehe, maybe crappy bandwidth makes it work better? :)
