All that games you listed there, guys like too, so i am not sure if gender plays to big a part in what someone likes when most games don't take gender into consideration when making them. (i would only think young girls and boys would have a preference for boy/girl games like barbie or hot wheels or something. you could easily make an argument that most games are geared towards guys, especially looking at some of the heroins in the games).

You seem to like FPS games, COD2 is pretty classic, but might not work for you after COD4. COD3 has a pretty big online following still, SP game is ok. Mass Effect has SIMILAR combat to GOW but it isn't as action packed (i liked that game, but a lot of people found it boring). Orange Box is a good buy, for sure. And Bioshock is decent.

It doesn't matter if you're male or female, a game is either good or not good... Tell me what type of games you have enjoyed in the past, (besides shooters) and I'll be able to help with a few suggestions.

Just to carry on in the shooter Genre Though... You may want to try the following.

The Orange Box "Halflife 2 bundle": ABSOLUTE MUST PLAY for any fan of shooters or RPG type games. It is a shooter but the story is so compelling that you lose your self in it, the game tends to feel like it's too short but it's worth it for sure.

Bioshock: Some sweet scary moments with guys jumping out of the shadows throwing bullets and fireballs at you, good times.

Condemned: A classic that everyone should at least try once, it has some nice hectic fights where you are dodging around corners fighting multiple foes with, hand to hand/melee/guns.

Lost Planet: it has some control scheme amd mobility issues but once you get over the learning curve it has some fun large scale battles, as well as an active online play.

Quake 4: It's a classic that has some stunning visuals and is mostly a Run and Gun in the classic style. Note that the game "PREY" HEAVILY RIPS OFF quake 4 and looks like some crappy redone clone version of quake 4.

The Darkness: VERY compelling story, interesting gameplay, Fun game for the Campaign Mode. Sadly the online SUCKS/LAGS big time. but for single player I highly recommend it.

Army of Two: Great for one campaign playthrough, Replayability is almost nil unless you are playing co-op. It's a fin game for about 1 week then it gets really boring really fast.

Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion: If you want to lose yourself in a massive world with a huge number of places to see and things to do then I HIGHLY recommend this game it's the pinnicle of Sword/Magic styled Role Playing Games on consoles.
