Does anyone know if you will be able to export game saves from x-box to x-box 360? I have a stack of saves on my x-box :afraid: and don't want to lose them when I buy my 360.

Its all very well but I am a bit put off buying anymore x-box games now as I wont be able to continue with the gamesaves on my new x-box 360 machine when I get it.

yeah no idea, I would hope they make a way to say hook the Xbox and Xbox360 directly together using the ethernet connections and just transfer the files. You would think it would be easy and that they would make that an option and freakin tell us about it.

I read in OXM that xbox games save cant export to the 360. In other words means that if the game is backwards compatible on the 360 (example:Halo2) you WILL HAVE TO START A NEW GAME. It sucks but who is realy going to play a old game when there are so many good ones coming out.

Old games will be played, but I don't really care about them. I would much rather play all the new games. Besides, it doesn't take that long to beat Halo 2 again.

People take backwards compatability way to serious! Why do you buy a new machine? To play the newest games, or to play the ones you've had for years?

think about the new Xbox only games coming out over the next few months before launch that you would want. Those are more of the ones people will be worried about. Your taking it just as extremely as the other end of that spectrum.

I know what you mean G4everx. Its not like when the xbox360 comes out that your xbox will shut down and die. The proble I see is constantly switch systems but i dont see it happening.

G4everx do watch G4 on tv?

I appriciate what u r all saying about the new gr8 games coming along on the next gen format, but say like me you have just bought the new burnout game, come December I will have my xbox 360 (Hopefully) :hmpf: and I won't be able to continue my game from where I left off. Same goes with all the other games I have bought over the last few months which I'm half way through. I don't want to keep unplugging and plugging in my old xbox for the sake of finishing off my old games, Does anyone else agree?

There's got to be a way to transfer save games. Perhaps there will be a way to upload your save games using xbox live and then transfer them back to the new box... who knows...

I hope you can transfer games- just look at Forza, it's not like you could just sit down and re-complete it again once you get your 360! And how many people have spent hours (if not days) designing car graphics and vinyls - they won't want to have to sit throuh that again!

On that note, is it possible to transfer Forza career and car saves from Xbox to Xbox using a memory card?

That makes sense, but are the memory cards the same as far as their connectors?
