Is there anything that can be done against modders to stop them from modding/hacking ever again ?

That impposbile, there will be people who fight against the system (like me) i hate modders who do it to rip other (i softmodded my xbox to backup my original games, yes i pay 50 bucks for them and i have the right to do it).
I will only fight againt unfair things...........like expensive games gettind scratch and i couldnt do anything to fix them

yes alot of people lie on ebay so its not very trusting plus there will never be an end to hacking it was always here and will always be here u cant stop it it is like a virsus

modding to backup games is not wrong by any means... m$, sony, and nintendo should all provide a way for gamers to backup their games.

I think when you open the console unless you have clearence to open it you get shocked with 100 volts of electricity.

i would never do it, but i have to admit i think its pretty freakin cool when u see an xbox all modded up. But no i dont see how they will ever be able to stop modders

I don't think that a smart thing because some people mod their xbox to copy games from other people and thats why they mod their xbox and if thats becomes normal then buying a game would be like dumb cause you could copy it from ur friend.

That may be the case, but if the big 3 don't provide a way to backup the games, we have to take matters into our own hands.

Yes. Seeing as modding on Xbox Live is against the rules and agreements, Microsoft can actually ban the harddrive of all Xbox's that have been used for modding forever. They can, but they wont. Stupid Bungie, and stupid Microsoft.

you are right Cable, i modded my xbox becuase i was tired of spending 50 bucks for a game and then strach it and never play it again.

If you have a disc that is really screwed up and you don't have a backup, you can take it to a Family Video store (or any major video store). They should have a machine called a "Laser Disc Resurfacer". I'm not sure how it works, but somehow it can resurface the disc and make it almost like new. I don't know how much they charge for it, but it's worth a shot.
