Gamertags on Friends 360

Ok ive had this burning question ever since i saw pics of the new controller. ok here it goes. I have a group of friends that all plan on buying a 360. With xbox 1 you could save your xbox live acct to a memory card and just take your controller to their house and all be on one box with 4 accts playing at the same time. while watching some 360 demos/console details this was advertised again of the possiblity of being done by pressing the (new) ring of light button on the new controller. but without a memory card connected to the controller how is the 360 going connect multple accts if you only configure your console to you gold live acct?

i would really like an answer to this

i want to be able to have 4 different live acct active at the same time while playing PDZ on a 52 inch HDTV

Jason, you would be able to sign up without a memory card, your account information will be in a server

does that mean that it will be password protected or something of that nature. or is anyone gonna be able to just enter a name and play under it?

Yes it will be password protected, otherwise somebody will be playing under your name 4 free

when you first setup the 360? or thru xbox.com

Unfortunately i dont have an xbox 360, so i dont really know how the dashboard is set up and how live is setup
