Hi new to the forum, nice to meet you all yada yada :)
anyways had a question didn't know if any of you have possibly come across this as they may not have these details out yet. Since the next gen systems are going hd I'm actually picking up a plasma soon to get the most out of these new systems. With the Xbox 360 I really like all of the features it has especially geared towards how your always on your live account when viewing movies on the 360 ect.
What I'm wondering is since the 360 is going to do the gaming in HD I have been trying to see if its DVD playback would possibly upconvert the DVD signals? I ask because when I get my plasma I was looking at getting an upconversion DVD player to get the most out of the TV (I mean you spend 3-5 grand on a TV may as well get the best picture possible right? lol ^_^)
But just wondering if any of you had read anything about the 360's DVD playback specs and if it might do upconversion. Its not a big deal but would save me from getting the other DVD player. And I really really would like to use the 360 as my DVD player just because of its interactivity with live and all which is a real plus and a nice feature to get messages on live while I'm viewing a movie and such.
