View Full Version : pdz possibly delayed
perfect dark zero might not make launch but will arrive no later than 3 weeks after say's Allard Allard declined to offer any details of the 360's launch day software line-up but did confirm that Microsoft is hoping for "All three of the first party titles to be there on day one."
"We're hoping, though. We're not going to sacrifice quality to do it," he said.
"If something's not ready we'll hold it back... I mean these games are not far from being done, and if they're three weeks after the launch or they're on launch day I don't think it makes a significant difference.

I rather have it delayed and run smoother than them just release the game unfinished.

Thank God they learned their lesson. We really don't need another Halo 2...
32 is still alot
Well, it's a lot, plus you have to consider a few things. They said they may release a patch for up to 50 players, which would be awesome, and also, if they were previously planning to take the game to 64 total player, but dropped it to 32 do to being crunched for time, then think about how much lag there will be. If 64 could play with little enough lag for the game to be fun, then 32 should have 0 lag whatsoever. I'm excited about 32 instead of 50 or 64. Less lag, but 2x the number of players(as that of Halo 2)

I sincerely hope that this title is not delayed. I have 2 pre-orders, one is PDZ and the other is ES:Obliv. Originally I had only one pre-order: Ghost REcon 3, but that got pushed back. Now Oblivion has been pushed back. PDZ better tow the line, our I'll be on TV, shacked up in a tower, picking off people with a high powered rifle. Hey, gotta get my fill... of medication I guess. I'ma sick boy, sick boy.

PDZ better not be delayed. This is one of the games that made me get a 360. I also plan on playing people on Live in on PDZ on Christmas Day. Rare has also said it would make launch. It is on the official Xbox website.

Wow have you even read why they did that? Um qaulity over quanity. They said that it was just to much and it took away from the gameplay. Besides when did more players in the game mean it was better? Ive played with 100's of people in Halo 2 for example that would choose team slayer over big team battle because its more fun. When it gets to be that many players it looses its strategy and becomes just run and gun.

I would get it both ways:
1. Get PDZ now, upgrades through Live for the game and save to hard drive (multiplayer compasity, frame rates, etc)
2. Get it later have it be actually perfect!
Both ways I don't care. I need another launch game that is next-gen to impress my friends if PDZ is delayed.

Oh yeah, where is your source? When MS makes the news official PDZ is still for launch people. Don't worry. That is old like 2 months ago I think. They confirmned all 1st party games will be launch titles.
