Do you think in Halo 3 that the Master Chief will be alone or that he will get support of some kind? Do you think that Master Chief will have reenforcments from Earth? If you think that Master Chief will have reenforcments what will they be?

in the last book they said they were training new spartans on Earth, so I wouldn't drop the idea of more spartans joining in.

"Until the age of seven, boys were educated at home and were taught to fight their fears as well as general superstition by their nurses, who were prized in Greece. Their training was then undertaken by the state in the agoge (/wiki/Agoge) system and supervised by the paidonomos, an official appointed for that purpose. This training consisted for the most part in physical exercises, such as dancing, gymnastics, and ball-games, with music and literature occupying a subordinate position. This tireless emphasis on physical training gave Spartans the reputation for being "laconic," short in words, a word derived from the name of their homeland of Laconia (/wiki/Laconia). Education was also extended to girls. Both sexes exercised naked (/wiki/Nudity). Women, however, could not compete according to the Olympic (/wiki/Ancient_Olympics) rules. There were also contests to see who could take the most severe flogging, an ordeal known as diamastigosis.
At the age of thirteen, young men were sent off into the countryside with nothing, and were expected to survive on wits and cunning. This was very probably, in origin, an old initiation rite (/wiki/Initiation_rite), a preparation for their later career as elite soldiers.
At the age of twenty, the Spartan began his military service and his membership in one of the dining messes or clubs (in Greek 'syssition' or 'phyidition'), composed of about fifteen members each, of which every citizen was required to be a member and where all meals were taken. The Spartan exercised the full rights and duties of a citizen at the age of thirty. Only native Spartans were considered a full citizen, and needed to undergo the training as prescribed by law, and participation in and contribution to one of the dining-clubs. Those who fulfilled these conditions were considered peers, (homoioi) citizens in the fullest sense of the word, while those who failed were called lesser men, and retained only the civil rights of citizenship."-Wikipedia(spartan)
the prequal book shows that Masterchief, or john, was trained in the exact way. In the book he was taken from his family at 7 or so, trained till 13, with hundreds of other children. At 13 he was taken out in the wild and tested, at 20 he began his service well more like 17. In the book he is also 6 foot at 16 yo and 9ft. at 20.

Ok odds are is the covenant Arbiter will return to fight the "demon" because master chief has to "contunue this fight" so i assume the elite will be back to kick some a$$ on earth and maybe the game will spend more than 2 levels on earth...
and most likely ANOTHER halo ring will come into play...again.

MC is bioengineered, cyborg, filled with permenant steriods, and wearing the MJOLNIR. The game and the book don't share the same script and structure and in the book it showed that one Spartan could destroy but multiple Spartans working together were unstoppable.

Does anyone else think that MC will have reenforcments? I want to know because I think that we all have a different opinion on it. Personally I think that MC will have marines with him and Cortana.

im really not sure...the idea of MC commanding a squad of Spartans sounds pretty nice...your team would be as good as...well almost as good as u, always getting headshots and pretty damn hard to kill...i guess i wouldn’t mind as long as there is some different...they could all be fresh out, new Spartan recruits
maybe the deference could be that MC is supposedly obsolete now that there coming out with better and newer spartans, refusing to upgrade for some reason, and in the game we show that he still can kick ass better then the new super solders..u know that old game, old vs the new…
but yea all of this is a waste of time...the game could come out next year

There's three confirmed alive (MC not included).

"Although some did perish in their escape from Reach and after the first strike lead by John-117, the last known surviving Spartans are: John-117, Kelly-087, Fred-104, Will-043, and Linda-058. Currently, Kelly-087's status is assumed alive, but her whereabouts are unknown."

The Marines have on body armor, but it appears you answered your own question.
And shouldn't it be rather obvious that the AI will be improved? After all, if there is a Halo 3, it is coming to a new machine. Wouldn't it be a huge disappointment to let it keep the original AI from Halo 2?
Feel free to read the books as to why the other Spartans were not there. One of them took off with Dr. Hasley (?) Heh, been a while since I read up on all that.
And quite frankly, I stand alone. I don't need other Spartans next to me unless it is a Co-op game.

they did save that one other spartan in the last book Maybe she will come kick some covie with MC. I think elite support would be reasonable but come on you need at least 1 on 500,000 to make it a fair fight

some more spartans would be sweet as long as it didnt turn into squad based combat ewwwww that would ruin the game

maybe MC will quite his job. You know, like retire and live on a beach. Then, When he meets a Mrs Chief, they can have a kid while hiding from the poparazzi in Africa, instead of diggin up Halos and fighting wars there. Would that be something eh, a good ending. The ol' happy ever after, instead of dark and depressing. Oh ya, and maybe he'll swear to never go in space, and fight his wars at home (with Mrs Chief), or in the city (In government debates, or protests). That would make a great story.

The planet he's on is earth so probably.
