Sweet offer, seems to be Europe only though. Undoubtedly all the world regions will get some sort of special offer like this though

Can us current xbox live subsribers transfer our accounts easily over to the 360 as ive been a xbox live subsriber since last november.

That leads me to beleive yes you will be able to do it easy enough.
Probebrly the Account recovery feature to do it.

Friend of mine did it though. But she was getting harassed a lot under her name. She kept calling in and complaining until they finally changed her gamertag to a different name.

Yes you can transfer your accounts on XBOX to XBOX360, but you can't transfer a subscription on XBOX360 to XBOX.
