Will I be able to to go on Live! as soon as I get my 360 on Nov. 22? Is it the same Live! that first gen xbox people are using?

I think it is the same live as the current XBox, just with more connections. Most of the new features for it seem to be on the 360 itself, not stuff that needs to be on a Live server.

yes you will if you have DSL internet service and if you get the full 360 package.

Well, ADSL and DSL are used interchangeably by technicians when they are talking about a home setup.
Technically speaking, you probably have DSL Lite, which is the same as DSL, but cheaper for the phone company and slower then DSL itself. I have DSL Light, the max speed that it can support is 6Mb/s. Live went through some maintenance a week or so ago. The downtime was for upgrades in preparation for 360 Live.

you will get your 360 plug it in sign up for gold and go on day one hour 1

Yah it will be up and running i saw a picture "sorry i don't have the link" but it was a picture of some guys buddy list and he had a friend on the xbox live 360 dashboard.

i tried using xbox live on the current xbox but it would not allow me onto the service :( i plugged my xbox directly into my cable modem ethernet port but it would not connect. any one any idea's or can someone post a connecting to xbox live made easy as i dunno why i cant use live

where do i create an account sorry :(

basically when i get the xbox 360 hook ethernet up to cable modem thendirectly into the x360 and have an account it should work no problems?
