Sega has today published new shots of the arcade version of House of the Dead 4, sparking off a whole new round of Xbox 360 conversion rumours.

With Sega's recent announcement that they intend to "recreate a classic Sega franchise" for the next-gen consoles already stoking the fire, the latest gossip - that the arcade version runs on a new Xbox 360-based arcade board - has simply poured petrol on the flames.

No one from Sega was available to comment on the speculation but even a re-animated corpse bereft of synapses or soul could have a pretty good stab that their answer would involve the words 'comment, not, on, rumour' and 'speculation'.

It worked 4 me :)

looks interesting, i really enjoyed HOTD 3, but it was to short and the end boss was REALLY tuff. I like the fact they added the old version to add length.

But most ppl wont pay for a gun that they can only use with 1 game.
