what can you do online with the xbox360?

well, ive heard that the ps3 is going to have a web browser. thats kool, but will the xbox360 have a free web browser?since it already has a hard drive! i mean ms wants to make this console likea computer. is there any info about that?? ooh yeah and its that true that there will be two versions of abox live? one that is free and the other one that you have to pay?? is it true????? info please!

that's just it. it's not a computer. it's a gaming machine. don't expect to surf the net on a gaming machine. that's why ps3 isn't going to win. it's not a gaming machine!

ms doesn't want to make the 360 like a computer. in fact they've stated that they're making this for gaming.

You can actually go online with the PS2 and surf the net now. You could also go online with the Dreamcast and surf the net as well. The thing is since we all have pc's and surf the net on them is it actually a worthy feature? Even if the 360 had this feature it's something I certainly wouldn't use and certainly isn't something that would make me interested in any console.

you can surf the net on the ps2 but you need a certain server to be up an running when that s not up you can't surf :(

i really don't see the point of surfing the net on a game, now i emphasize the word game, console.

You don't fill any thing up when you surff or need spy ware ect.

When at night I can not sleep i can surf the net on my Ps2 with out going down and booting my PC up which takes ages as it is a old one.
So I can surf whilst in bed the lazy mans way.

well, i'd personally rather just talk to friends online, and kick some @$$ in the games. i don't need to surf the net on a console, i am much happier at 3 in the morning on halo2 in a custom game.

i'm just saying, which would you rather do, hang out with friends, or surf the internet?

well I don't play live in bed at night desturbs the Mrs so I am just happy surfing the net instead.

But i am never happy uin Halo 2 any way I went back to it a couple of weeks and i nearly died at the amount of cheaters doing their superman jump.

As for Halo 2 cheating, that varies from time of day and game type. If u dont like cheating (nobody does!) get a few mates together for a custom game.

You don't need a HDD to surf then net though.

Just not fond of Halo 2 any way give me Black Arrow as it is more my style of game.

i personally hate halo 2. I think its a **** fps and online its just a cheaters paradise much like counter strike on the pc is. I hate halo 2 with a passion, would rather play black arrow even with its flaws or ghost recon 2 with its flaws as well.

the 360 is gonna be faster than any pc. its not just a gaming machine, wat about xbox live marketplace, or that u can steam videos and down load songs. u can make play lists to listen to when ur gaming. its not just a gaming machine, its an entertainment system.
