If anyone tells you how many 360s they are getting they are lying noone knows. So if gamestop, ebgames, Target, Wal-mart, and etc. have no idea and shouldn't be trusted they say it to get you to buy them now and fast. The only thing we are sure of is that not everyone will get one but most of us will. Just chill and wait there is no need to ask mostly because J. Allard doesn't even know to tell his boss. This is because production was only started a wekk or less ago. The best thing to do is wait and find out.

your info is wrong. Production of the 360 started first week of september. They started with 100,000 units per week and should be close to 150,000 units per week by now. The estimated amount of units is 2,100,000 for launch. 1,300,000 for North America, 200,000 for the UK, $400,000 for rest of Europe and 200,000 for Japan.

well if you are right, 1,300,000 for the US release should be around ok, althought they'll make more for xmas, since many thousands of thousands are waiting for xmas

the factories run 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There are gonna be plenty of 360s to go around. And when launch hits the factories will still keep on making them

Production has started like 3 months ago. I have no clue what you are talking about. If it started a week ago, there wouldn't be that many 360s.

they had some footage of the production awhile ago...I can't wait til lauch then we can have an official thread just for all of our stories on if we got one and what the whole purchasing experience was like...that'll be fun

Yeah, i remeber the people dress all in white in the production line ages ago, so the are making them since some time. And to cougar50, the factories looks like any other factory, a line where the product is coming, and ppl assembling it, althoguth most of the job is made by non human machines

yeah nobody knows yet my managers still have no clue, cause if they had a clue they prob would have told me by now, no real reason not to, i really dont think any store will have a clue untill a day or two ,maybe before they get them

yes finally someone who got the the point of it all. BTW they didn't start 3 months ago J. Allard even said they didn't even stat that long ago and are at a very steep rate of production now.
