xbox.com registering 360

i am trying to link my account over to the 360 but i dont understand how. it asks me if i want to register the xbox or the 360 but it asks for the serial number so i guess i can only do the regular xbox...right PLEASE RESPOND!

yes only the xbox can be registered, untill you have a 360 anyways
