Ok, Well I Think Thats Pretty Kooll, But Is It True That Only Music Could Go Into The Xbox360 Hard Drive? Well That Would Be Awsome To Get Dvd Movies That Are Saved Onto Your Pc And Save It Into Your Xbox360 Hard Drive. Well Could You Actually Do That?? As Well As Music???? I believe you can with music, although with movies I am not so sure. Sounds feasible, although it is really hard to tell at this point without having the hardware in front of us. Maybe we'll hear more as we get closer to launch day. Or maybe I missed that bit of info already.
P.S. You do not have to capitalize every word. You don't even have to do that in German. Just Capitalize the first word of every sentence and proper nouns. We'll work from there.

I'm not sure about movies, but they will put strict restrictions on the file types you can transfer etc - there are always piracy/hacking/etc concerns

you can streamline your music from your pc to the console, and you can (i'm not saying it's good) download mods for your games...yeah...not the best thing in the world.
it's a great idea in concept, and i'd love to be able to streamline my music from my pc. i just don't want a bunch of mods for the games.

i doubt it, because it's a different type of file, it's bigger, requires more storage, and it wasn't announced.

well i then how can you store dvd moives since you can buy dvd movies into your xbox360 media center 2005. then you can download the movie into your hard drive. just watch the e3 press conference and it will say that, so i think its possible that you can stream moives from your pc to your xbox360.

only if they have a multi-purpose reader. they're not going to have more than one for streamlining, and to download a "video file" you need to have a multi-purpose reader. i haven't read that they'll have one, so it's still up in the air.
i seriously doubt though, that they'll have that ability because of all of the pirating policies.

If you can download movies from your PC, then perhaps your first purchase should be a HD drive upgrade for the Xbox 360, as 20 gigs will get eaten up pretty quick and last thing you want is no save space because "Debbie does..." has taken up all the room.

yeah, considering dvd movies hold about 4 gigs of info. so that'd mean you'd get a whole 5 movies max! yaaaaay!.... :hahaha:

Anything is possible, but how are you "pretty damn sure" that it will? If you failed the read the other 15 posts, speculation says it is possible, but no one has heard anything definitive on the matter. If you know something we don't, feel free to post it and be sure back you claim up with a reputable source.

Just to remind members, that the staff on these forums will not tolerate talk of piracy.
We do not and will not condone illegal copying of games, movies or music, or the playing of and using pirated games, dvd's, cd's etc. Any posts talking of piracy or contain links to sites that offer or sell pirated goods or the software/equipment to produce pirate goods will be deleted instantly. The person posting the topic will get one warning. If the member continues to talk of playing, using or talk about having access to pirated products, they will be permantly banned, no exceptions!
I have already deleted and edited a few responses in this thread!

lol
i thought so, grumpy.
i'm pretty sure there are piracy laws against "copying" dvd data from cpu and making a new copy somewhere else. oh wait, that's duplication of copyrighted material! well, that's illegal....lol....

but i am not talking about piracy, i mean its logical that you will have dvd movies in your pc if you have a dvd burner and if you own the dvd movie. is it still piracy copying one of your dvds movies into the xbox360 or another blank dvd cd????????? just wondering?

jonny what you were enquiring about was fine, but in the thread there were one or two posts blatently talking about using the xbox to play pirated games and one linking to a site that deals in bootleg movies. These have been edited or deleted.

From eveything I've seen the Xbox360 can act as a remote display device for a Windows Media PC. This is very cool... Now all video and audio content can stream via ethernet to your xbox360/hdtv combo. I see no need to store any media content on the xbox360. Your PC with terra bytes of storage can do that.

that's a good point.
why have that kind of feature on a gaming console when you can just have it on your pc?
why take up your 20GB hd memory with movies, instead of games, when you can just store it on your pc?
