Here's a clip from the Bungie site:
"But here's another bonus – the hardware in the 360 can do a lot of nifty stuff, and specifically in the cases of Halo and Halo 2, it can display the graphics in wide screen, at 720p, with full scene anti-aliasing. And it doesn't look kludgy, artifacty or smeary like an upscanning DVD player. The best way to describe it is that both games look like they're running on a PC at those resolutions.
We'll have some more information about these resolutions on Friday."

nice nice! cause actually Halo on the PC didn't look any better than the Xbox version. There was NO AA support, so it still was blocky and that always surprised me (guess they didn't want the pc version to outshine the xbox version) so I CANNOT WAIT to play through the original Halo's story again with some spruced up polished resolution on the plasma! I have to say I'm more than excited. Course they could REALLY have blown me away and added online co-op to both games ^_- bah course I just read the article and he said its not like earth shattering improvements but heh I'll take what I can get ^_^;

Also widescreen on halo1 will let you see more to your sides. It should be great!

Man if u look at the different scenes, one with AA and higher resolution, and with out, there is such a big difference. That’s going to help so much online, with sniping.
