It seems there won't be enough 360s to go around now. I hear 30 units at Walmart and 14-20 some units for E and Gamestop. Worst of all, what is core and what is premium??? I am confused.

If you can, get the core pack - its by far the superior pack. The word premium was put in to part a fool from his money easier and quicker - a typical marketing ploy. Core stands for central pack - central to the gaming experience. Premium stands for extortionate - overpriced if you want to play the games but want to sound good to your mates.

I think he was saying that he didn't know how many of each the stores were getting.

And the premium pack is a far better deal, unless you do not care about backwards compatibility, a wireless controller, a remote, an xbox live headset, hd compatibility, and would like to spend the money on a memory card

If you have an hdtv and would like to save games... you are going to spend $380 just for the core pack, the hd/av cables, and a memory unit

Anyway: I believe that Bestbuy is going to get the highest number of consoles on average. Most will be the premium. If you haven't pre-ordered, you should call local stores next week to find out the exact number of 360's they're getting. If you're looking to get one on launch, I would suggest that you leave your house early and find the store with the smallest line, and the most units available.

this sort of fits here, i went to my local ebgames and best buy, and they are all out of extra controllers.......thats just sick if you ask me. soon as i get the time though i am sure wal-mart or target will have some.

how ironic would that be, win a free xbox, but still have to stand in line at midnight for a extra controller.

Dudes, everyday a new thread pops up like this saying, "Walmart will only have 15 or 12" just wait till it comes out and see if there are any shoratges. And Microsoft has still yet to comment on any shoratges. So don't get yer panties in a bunch. J/K
