looks a kewl idea, make it alot easier 4 sending messages online. But how much will it cost?

it will be hand for sending games messages to people without hving to use the joypad to type it out.

Yeah, I saw this on engadget a couple of months ago. I think it is a good idea, especially if the Xbox 360 is slated to be a quasi-media center as well as a gaming machine. Now if the Xbox 360 could only grill like the PS3, I'd be a true happy camper.

Ugh, I was hoping they'd ditch text messages completely, and just have all messages be voice recorded, since buying XBL will either come with a mic, or you usually end up buying one anyway. As long as I can type selecting letters for this if I have to, I don't want to have to buy something like that.

First of all i don't know why it came to a surprise to everyone cause i have read an interview several weeks before the announcement where it said there might be some add-ons for the controller

As for you ShadowX i don't think it's going to happen cause in mmorpgs mostly they use text messages to track down abuse and "dirty" words
