they are a bunch of ****ing bastards. i arrive at best buy to camp out, and the in store prices were jacked up to $650. i saved and i saved for 3 damn months. my mom doesn't make alot of money, so all i could do is raise enough money for just the system and one damn game. i get there and my world is crushed in the palm of a corporation that is so caught up in making so much money that they don't thing about the little people. sure, they made the core, but no one wants that piece of ****, it's a joke.
so **** microsoft and may they all go to hell

Best Buy saw the opportunity to take advantage of supply and demand. M$ didn't gouge the prices.
that what businesses do , maximize profit, even if its morally wrong

it was false advartisement, their flyer said it would be the normal price and there was no prior notice when i was in bestbuy earlier that day, then this is just sprung up on me.

Yeah, im really, really ticked off at this whole launch for the U.S. I know atleast ten hardcore gamers (two converted from ps2/psp) and nobody i mean nobody has a 360. Yet i can go on ebay and find a gazillion people who have over thirty of them selling them for a huge profit. And my ten yro daughter says her friend won four of them off the mdew thing. I unfortunetly was one of the 1st shipment casualties that got pushed back to 2nd shipment. So hey, M$, if you know you can only put out 400,000 units to your most loyal, lets try to limit the givaways and the people who take out personal loans for the "gray" market. Your gonna lose some followers and potential ps2 turncoats!!

i have a hard time believing that best buy or microsoft would jack up the premium price to $650 but i dont think ur making this up so what i say is wait a while and if no luck strom in bestbuy and demand one. i rele dont think its fair and quite frankly im pretty sure its against the law (actually 98% sure) at my best buy they r getting weekly shipments buy price is normal. so good luck 1

Actually, I called BB just now. They didn't jack up the price at all. it must have been your manager who is money hungry.

man though i hope your Bestbuy isnt jerking you around like target did, it better not be some employey who read weekly shippments and put 3 and 4 togather to says 1st shipment last tuesday, 2nd this one...
Otherwise, we'll all get togather and well bad things for that bestbuy..

I really have a hard time believing what your saying. If the store your were at went against corporate sales plan then you should report them to the Corporate HQ. I pretty sure Best Buy is corporately own and not franchised. If this is true then Best Buy would be false advertising. You could not only report them to the better business burrow in your home town but you would also have a legitimate lawsuit on your hands. So if what you say happened really did then you should not be wasting your time on here but instead contacting a lawyer. If you don't do this then your either lieing in incompitant.
