anybody played the 360 on standerd def?

i have because that is all i have @ my dad's house (got a 52" hd @ my mom's though) and well the graphics are still insanely awesome on standerd def...i mean the thing loads up and it look like probly about 3/4 as good as hd (which is freakin awesome).

P.S. Halo 2 looks outstanding on it :D

hd has been ova hyped... its great, the future and all.. but not as "necessary" for a nex-gen gaming experience as it has been made out to be.
