thats really sad and bad!! i hope its just that one!!! , he only played a certain game maybe thats the cause , cause on my old xbox i was playing a game and it went all funny , stuffed up and the game stoped. then it never happened again if i were him i would ask for a exchange at his shop - I WILL GET MY XBOX 360 IN 90 DAYS!!! that seems sooo far away :(

While I dont think we are talking about a recall of all the Xbox 360's produced so far, there does seem to be a large amount of these reports.

So either it affects a small a majority of systems (remember you don't hear from people whos systems work as predicted), or it's a great PR campaign from Sony :D

Either way, it is concerning!

I played PGR for a good 3hrs last night and never had a problem!

i wouldnt be too worried, there is almost always a 1-3% failure rate on first revision hardware, and in my country the companies are forced to replace/repair failing equipment by law, so im not worried at all.

There are always lemons. I played or just had it on yesterday for a good 8 hours. NO crashing.

one freeze up and afew other concerns but all with the same game so I think its partly to blame....NBA2k6

yeah some like some duds, which sucks. I know one of the IGN editors got one that wouldn't even turn on o_O but hey it happens and is an unfortunate reality. Mine is great I played it from 9 in the morning till midnight with a few breaks. I played Need for Speed the most with some PGR3 and Perfect Dark Zero in between. Never had any issues to speak of

we have had loadsa peeps going on about this in another forum, but we also think that its a tiny amount and that some of it is made up lol their is not enought facts, also if ther was a large number then microsoft would have issued a statement by now
