yup they are, they the only site along with a few other none known sites that are reporting these crashes! i think tht the problems are a tiny amount as you would expect, and that the pro sony sites are blowing things up and causing a stir in the official xbox 360 UK mag forums

dont sweat it guys, part of the key of that article is right at the beginning where it says "the ps2 ign team" meaning its a team that does nothing but love on the PS2 so of course they are going to lean towards nothing but sony and write up articles to feed to the Sony fanboys. its their job. Dont let junk like that bother you. Read some of the articles by xbox teams where they talk about how great it is, then you'll be balanced lol.
And half of what they say while impressive is irrelevant. I mean I'm an HDTV lover/enthusiast and even I can see through the BS of some things. 1080p? yeah great about 3% of HDTV's do it, 120 FPS? oh wonderful too bad no HDTV can display that right now or even announced that I can remember. Dual 1080p support? I doubt it'll have the same picture quality once you go dual screen, it'd probably look marvelous on one but once its split I'm sure quality will go down a bit. "7 boomerang support" lol that statement alone speaks for itself, I've never had over 4 people on one console and can't imagine having that many. I mean what would you play with that madden? and then what 3 of the guys are wide receivers who never get to receive the ball? Its like always throwing irrelevant facts that at the end of the day dont change the actual experience. As I dont know many people who have TWO HDTV displays sitting next to eachother. Since to do panarama mode like it supports you need two identical sets.

Who cares if PS3 is getting Metal gear Kojima has already been quoted to say that 360 could do the same game...its on joystiq.com if you wanna read it. As for crashes, I worked retail while the PS1 launched...we got sooo many of those things back it made me get a Saturn instead. But as I recall it sold fine. As for killer apps...what was Sonys killer app for PS2? Fantavision? DOA Hardcore? I don't recall a "killer app" I truely believe just having a strong line up and a large launch line is the key. You only truely need a killer app for the competition...and as I see it 360 has NO current competition...period. Don't believe the Sony hype machine...they haven't shown me anything yet

amen yeah ive always been a nintendo fan untill well i mean look at the revolution controller... need i say anymore? now its about xbox which i never disliked besides what the first one looked like, but the gamecube as long as it wasnt purple it didnt look taht bad , but Microsoft should merge with nintendo and create like....Xcube 64 or something idfk lol
