This is sort of scaring me. I will still get it. Just return it to Target if it crashes.

They have a 90 day warrenty on all electronics. Bring back the recipt though.

Oh. Before I get too off topic, does it crash with PDZ? I went to target today and my mom exchanged a couple of items. She got her money back in less than 3 min.

haven't heard PDZ being crash so i don't think there is anything wrong with it.....and also i got mai 100th post yay lol

ya there is that number but first you will have to wait like an hour to get hold of someone then a few more month until MS can ship it back to you

To that end, O'Donnell says help is on the way--or at least will be soon. Gamers with console problems who call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and wind up needing repairs or a replacement 360 will have a prepaid shipping box overnighted to them. She said that typically said gamers will have a fixed or replaced 360 arriving at their door five business days later.

the spokesperson said so, i would trust her but it might end up like the shortages and end up coming back like u said months but i hHIGHLY doubt that long

maybe it was just pgr3, thats the game that crashes

PGR3 has yet to crash on me except when i'm online I open up the guide to see someones gamercard and when I try to back out 'pressing B' I haven't tried just using the gude button. Also online you get alot of echo at first.

yeah wonder if its PGR3 that is the culprit. I have it but have only played a few races. I have like 14 hours on Need for Speed logged and 3 on PDZ with no issues

Huh. Well mines running tip-top! Call of Duty is the $hit! No problems on live either. If there's lag, I leave (someone has a horrid ping) and I'll get back in another game in about 15 sec (serious, its that fast). High Def and 5.1 surround is the only way to go! Been playing it atleast 16 hours a day since I got it at midnight. NBA 2K6 is stunningly real, and is even more fun than the xbox version. Watched a DVD on it, plugged in my coolpix camera and it loaded up thumbnails just like the pc. And the controllers are like an extension of my hands. The plug and play chargers are highly recommended. Love it!

My only complaint is yours as well. The shortages suck! More gamers need to experience this. Everyone loves a picnic!

wow i preorder nba 2k6 and call of duty 2 too.........can't wait to play with you on live when i get my 360.:biggrin:

I havent played PGR3 yet and im kind of scared to put it in now. I havent had any problems out of COD2 or NFS yet.

I guess to add insult to injury... That's what those kiddos get for buying an Xbox 360. Why would you honestly think the Xbox 360 is the next step to "Next Gen," microsoft hasn't been in the Console gaming world long enough to give such hopes.

LOL that was weird, but it looks like it was coming back to normal when the vid was over. It might be the CD problem, but wthat was really weird because it was not the commmon freeze that we all have experinced. Even thought it was "frozen" it was still moving, with some weird lines/pixels going vertical

I've been playing PGR3 for hours on end no problems.... but i think i found a link to the problem... maybe.... I managed to make PGR3 crash... but it only happened when i hooked my 360 up to my PC monitor via the VGA cable and ran the game at 1280x1024. On a regular(non-hd) tv it runs fine. I was in a race just trying to get a look at how good the graphics are at the higher resolution(wasn't very impressed) And i hit the guide button and tried to go back to the Dash board and it just froze... nothing responded and i had to turn it off via the button in the front.

But anyway, yea it didn't look all that impressive on my CRT monitor, it's a ViewSonic p95f+ professional series. It's a bad ass CRT with outstanding image quality but the colors and everything just looked kind of washed out. Anyway i still love my 360 altho it's making me very sleep deprived.
