Not sure how you'll be able to transfer games saves from your old Xbox to your new 360. Maybe using a memory card like you do now to transfer saves from one Xbox to another is the way to go regarding Single player game save transfers.

As for your Live stats it may be the same as when you transfer your Live account from one xbox to another. To transfer an account from one Xbox to another you go into your Xbox Live menu highlight account recovery (I think that's what it's called), input the info it requires and press o.k. Your Live account is then transfered from one xbox to another. Then when you go on Live with your new Xbox all your stats/rankings etc remain as they were on your original Xbox. The only time they are reset is if you create a new Live account and new gamertag.

There's been nothing said about how transferring saves from the Xbox to the 360 will be accomplished so the above are just my best guess really :)

Hmm this is good, I haven't thought of this. I'd imagine it would be via a memory card. You can also put your Xbox Live account on a card and transfer that as well. Your Xbox Live stats are stored on Microsoft's servers, not your Xbox. It is your account that is on your 'Box. Hopefully Microsoft doesn't take Sony's route and eliminate the ability to use your previous data on the next system. It pretty much defeats the purpose of backwards compatibility. I won't be selling my Xbox when the 360 comes out, so this is not an issue for me personally.

Why not use a corssover ethernet cable. Power both systems on, and the 360 can do the rest when connected to the XBox via a crossover cable.

What if you used an Action Replay. You can plug the memory card into the AR and then plug that into one of the USB ports.
